└─ wired into · DevOps / Platform
Migrated the core platform to Kubernetes (dozens of apps), ran on-prem installs for partners like Baker Hughes, and prepped the company for its first SOC 2 audit.

Principal Platform Engineer · Kubernetes · Cloud · the whole pipeline
Two decades across the entire software lifecycle. I started by breaking software as a QA, then built it, scaled it to billions of data points a day, and now keep it reliable as a platform engineer. I think in systems — and I like the seams where they meet.

My one and only hardware project — and the one I'm proudest of. I started at the bench with a soldering iron and a QA checklist, grew into customer support, then partner coordination, and finally owned the product itself. Everything except writing the software — carried from a bare MVP to a device selling on the market.
“Ship the product, not the plan — talk to customers before you talk to code.”
“There is no miracles in electronics - just bad connections”
Seven years, one employer, many clients — the Ajax & IE6 era, when single-page apps were only just emerging on the first frameworks. Plain bash gave way to Vim and fish. Full-stack all the way: Django & Rails backends with jQuery / Backbone / CoffeeScript frontends — even a 3D pacifier designer for Baby-Nova — plus heavy data-viz for Compete.com, and eventually Big-Data pipelines at 25M req/hour.
“The simplest design that works usually wins — and how to say no to complexity.”
“Tests are a design tool, not a chore — write the test you wish existed.”
“Garbage in - garbage out”
“Reliability is a feature — measure it, budget for it, and automate the boring parts.”
Principal Platform Engineer, running platforms for several products at once — the whole pipeline, from cluster to CI to on-call.

└─ wired into · DevOps / Platform
Building blocks for a decentralized-identity ecosystem — large-scale AWS account management with full observability & configurable SSO.
└─ wired into · Data Science
Automated ML platform. Built a one-tool Kubernetes installer for AWS, GCE & bare-metal, with full install/update/removal lifecycle.
└─ wired into · Software Engineer
US data broker. 25M requests/hour, ~1.5 TB/day — migrated Hadoop → Spark on Mesos and single-cloud → multi-cloud.
└─ wired into · Software Engineer
Web-traffic analytics for the top 1M sites (later acquired by TNS). 250k lines of Python: data-viz dashboards, i18n / l10n, integrations across data warehouses, and a test engine cut from 27 min to under 2 s.
└─ wired into · Software Engineer
An early cross-platform single-page app with a 3D designer to customize goods — a pacifier configurator built back when browsers barely allowed it.
└─ wired into · Product Manager · GSM Dream Team
A GSM phone diagnostic & repair device — hardware, software, and an online service, taken from MVP to sales.
└─ always running · since 2016
An engineering club I co-founded — writing on process, testing, code review, and infrastructure.
